High Pressure Resistant Aramid Fiber Reinforced Polymer Matrix Composite Pipe Design

In this study, a total of 6 different composites were obtained by adding 5%, 10% and 15% chopped aramid fiber reinforcement in mm dimensions to each the polypropylene polyethylene matrix elements under same production method conditions. The materials mixed using extrusion then formed into plates press molding technique. Tensile charpy tests these performed their mechanical properties examined. S/N ratios calculated for effect matrix, additive on was determined analysis variance (ANOVA). According Signal/Noise (S/N) ANOVA results, it observed that had effects properties. Pipes are designed considering composite with added element. pipe design be pressure tested Solidworks program length 500 according ISO 1167 standards. Pipe an outer diameter 125mm, which used as standard natural gas infrastructure works, taken reference.
